Eileen Konz has been a registered nurse since 1990. She received a Bachelors’ Degree in Health and Human Services  at The University of Scranton.  Eileen then went on to obtain an Associates’ Degree in Nursing at Nassau Community College in Garden City, New York. Eileen has worked in several fields of nursing including medical/surgical nursing, and community health. Eileen worked for the district in 2006 to 2012 as a health office nurse at Stroudsburg Intermediate Elementary.   After this position she worked at Lehigh Valley Health Network for 6 years in the adolescent psychiatry and obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from Slippery Rock University and she became a Board Certified Psychiatric Nurse.  She realized her passion lied with the pediatric population and her strong desire to work back in the community. Eileen is happy  to be back working in Stroudsburg School District and to be part of the community she has called home for the last 20 years. Eileen has 2 grown children who both attended Stroudsburg School District.  She lives with her husband of 28 years and has always had fur babies at home and currently has 2 terriers. Eileen feels honored to work with your children and looks forward to helping all of the students with their health care needs.
