Welcome to Hamilton Elementary School!

Hamilton Elementary School is a Kindergarten through Grade 4 elementary school in the Stroudsburg Area School District. Hamilton Elementary was constructed in 1953 on seven acres of land and is unique among the district elementary schools, as it is in a rural/emerging suburban setting.  Hamilton currently has a student population of approximatly 315 students and 15 classroom teachers.  Students at Hamilton participate in Physical Education, Art, Library, and Music.  3rd and 4th grade students participate in health classes one day out of a 6 day cycle.  4th grade students are able to participate in string instrument lessons.

We are committed to quality early childhood education and are proud to offer a full day kindergarten program. Our faculty and staff work diligently to provide effective instruction to meet the needs of all learners. We are fortunate to have a supportive and active parent community and welcome parents as partners in their children's education.
